- Maintain the tidiness of the waiting area and reception counter throughout the day.
- Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
- Respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Order clinic office supplies, manage inventory, and maintain a well-stocked reception area.
- Sell and track cosmetic products, providing excellent customer service to patients.
- Distribute mail and prepare for next-day scheduled appointments, ensuring a seamless transition.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred.
- Proficient in basic computer functions and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and prioritize appropriately.
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Compassionate and caring demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
