  • Greet patients, check them in for appointments, and verify their insurance information.
  • Scan documents into the electronic health record, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information.
  • Maintain the tidiness of the waiting area and reception counter throughout the day.
  • Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Order clinic office supplies, manage inventory, and maintain a well-stocked reception area.
  • Sell and track cosmetic products, providing excellent customer service to patients.
  • Distribute mail and prepare for next-day scheduled appointments, ensuring a seamless transition.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred.
  • Proficient in basic computer functions and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and prioritize appropriately.
  • Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
  • Professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
