Role Overview:

As the Director of Marketing, you will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing sales across physical stores, online platforms, and B2B channels. Your leadership will be crucial in driving revenue growth, increasing brand visibility, and optimizing customer experiences. You will collaborate with a talented in-house team specializing in creative design, social media, SEO, ecommerce, and sales, while reporting directly to the VP of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement marketing strategies to boost foot traffic, meet sales objectives, expand market share, enhance customer engagement, and solidify brand positioning within retail environments.
  • Design and execute promotional campaigns to attract customers, highlight specific products or services, and drive sales, including managing in-store displays and promotional activities.
  • Conduct thorough market research to analyze industry trends and pinpoint growth opportunities within the retail sector.
  • Evaluate sales data and customer feedback to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates and customer traffic.
  • Collaborate with the Ecommerce Division to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
  • Lead a team dedicated to executing in-store marketing strategies, providing mentorship and support to ensure successful implementation.
  • Work closely with various departments, including merchandising and operations, to align in-store marketing efforts with overarching business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Project Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail and ecommerce marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity; B2B experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering effective in-store marketing solutions on time and within budget.
  • Experience in Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing.
  • Advanced Project Management skills, with proficiency in tools such as Workfront/Attask.
  • Expertise in Strategic Planning and Execution, capable of managing both strategic and operational aspects related to sales and marketing.
