Tech Marine Business is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide essential support to our program office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and engage in the collection, preparation, and management of Task Planning Sheets (TPS) to document program office requirements.
- Facilitate the preparation of funding documents within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and coordinate with relevant sponsoring organizations for processing; monitor the funding documents until completion and acceptance.
- Manage the TPS Budget Execution Workbook to maintain accurate records of current budgets, allocations, and revisions, ensuring that performing activities meet financial benchmarks.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly execution status reports for program management and task oversight, and support major reviews as needed.
- Identify expiring funds and collaborate with government Program Analysts to assess recoupment options, preparing plans for fund recapture and realignment.
- Track funding document Work Completion Dates (WCD) and develop strategies to extend dates or recoup funds as necessary.
- Conduct research and prepare responses to financial inquiries from various organizations.
- Develop data for presentations at Program and Financial Reviews.
- Formulate recommended actions based on data analysis presented during reviews.
- Enhance proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, while assisting team members in their skill development.
- Maintain the ability to independently interface with internal and external customers through regular and ad hoc meetings.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various financial management systems and lead efforts to enhance team capabilities in these areas.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) initiatives, including contract performance reviews and independent cost estimating analyses.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in providing financial support to U.S. Navy program offices.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent military service experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Possession of an active DOD Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage with internal and external customers effectively.
- Willingness to travel reasonable distances for job-related functions.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for necessary equipment.
Compensation:
- $90K - $140K
