Position Summary:
The individual in this role will be tasked with addressing inquiries from members and guests regarding club and community bookings. This includes providing detailed information and facilitating the sale of relevant Haig Point services and products. The Reservations Specialist will enhance the arrival experience by ensuring effective communication with guests, gathering all necessary details, and delivering an experience that aligns with their expectations. A thorough understanding of promotions, events, pricing, and sales strategies is essential for success in this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a strong customer service orientation, ensuring that members and guests receive the highest level of courtesy and professionalism.
- Offer comprehensive information about accommodations, package deals, special events, dining options, recreational activities, golf, and other island-related events.
- Manage incoming calls, assisting with reservations, confirmations, maintenance requests, and general inquiries.
- Utilize effective selling techniques to process, enter, and confirm reservations.
- Provide guests with relevant property information and directions, while also promoting additional services when appropriate.
- Address guest issues and complaints with empathy, focusing on achieving guest satisfaction.
- Accurately post charges to guest accounts as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of one year of experience in front desk or guest service roles.
