Order Coordinator

Brook + Whittle is seeking a highly skilled Order Processor to join our team. As an Order Processor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities- Provide customers with accurate and timely information regarding product availability and pricing.
- Process and enter orders for products received via various channels, including internet, email, phone, and mail.
- Answer incoming telephone calls from customers regarding product inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Place outgoing calls to customers to obtain necessary information to verify orders.
- Review orders for accuracy and completeness, and contact customers to confirm missing or additional information.
- Prepare and submit order jackets to QA for review and approval.
- Enter customer quotes and orders into the computer system, and email or auto-fax quotes to customers as needed.
- Compute prices, discounts, and shipping charges on orders and quote requests.
- Retrieve quote requests from the Quote Queue and complete quotes or send to the appropriate area for completion.
- Outsource orders to other vendors, complete follow-up on orders, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Handle special accounts and perform other duties as assigned.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- One or more years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- General computer skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Prior customer service experience and technical printing knowledge are helpful.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in sometimes complex situations.
- Incumbent regularly required to use color vision, grasp, reach, and sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Computer savvy and comfortable with technology.
- A charismatic and dynamic in-person and phone communicator.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to handle conflict and manage customer expectations.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at juggling multiple tasks at a time.
- Strong proofreading and grammar skills.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Environment is typically general office, though the incumbent may spend short periods in the manufacturing environments with exposure including but not limited to dust, dirt, high noise levels, and variations in temperature.
- Incumbent constantly required to hear, speak, articulate, and use manual dexterity.
- Incumbent regularly required to use color vision, grasp, reach, and sit for prolonged periods of time.
