NexThreat is looking for a dedicated and skilled Cybersecurity Systems Specialist to become a vital member of our innovative team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing and facilitating the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes for systems and applications critical to our operations.

Your contributions will be essential in executing A&A documentation within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and safeguarding the security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and facilitate Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes for systems and applications utilized by our organization.
  • Plan, implement, and manage A&A documentation within the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Provide technical analysis and engineering support for system certification and accreditation.
  • Maintain the integrity of system, network, and application security by developing and updating Certification and Accreditation requirements.
  • Implement defense-in-depth strategies to enhance the security of networks and systems.
  • Support compliance with Computer Network Defense (CND) directives and apply industry best practices in security.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or managerial field is preferred.
  • More than five (5) years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, engineering, or A&A-related areas.
Certifications:

  • Must possess a DoD M IAT Level II Certification.
