Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist

We are seeking a proficient Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist to enhance our proactive team. As a key player in our Cyber Incident Response Unit, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the security and reliability of our clients' systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze network activity and security notifications to detect possible security breaches
- Examine and assess security occurrences to ascertain the underlying causes and scope of the situation
- Formulate and execute incident management strategies and protocols to counteract security risks
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to escalate and resolve security challenges
- Conduct thorough post-incident evaluations and assessments to extract insights and enhance response capabilities
- Maintain comprehensive records of incidents, responses, and remediation actions for compliance and auditing
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
Essential Qualifications
- Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in cybersecurity or incident management
- Strong grasp of network protocols, operating systems, and security solutions
- Familiarity with security incident detection and response technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.
Desirable Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CISA are advantageous
- Experience in threat hunting, digital forensics, and malware examination is beneficial
