Account Executive Lead Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships with minimal input from Producers.
  • Direct a service team to manage a large book of business.
  • Develop new business leads from Producers or identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients from lead generation to renewal.
  • Participate in team selling processes, including finalist interviews and RFP responses.
  • Prepare and present renewal analysis to clients.
  • Sell renewal business to existing clients and additional lines of coverage.
  • Promote other services offered by our agency through Producer Service Proposals.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on clients' existing coverages.
  • Select carriers for solicitation and negotiate benefits and premiums.
  • Respond to client inquiries, including benefit and claim questions and issues.
  • Review client coverage contracts and amendments for accuracy.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships and contracts on behalf of clients.
  • Manage a dedicated service team.
  • Serve as a technical expert, assisting department members with complex issues.
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to departmental staff.
  • Create new client sales opportunities.
  • Develop motivational action plans for personnel development in conjunction with defined performance goals.
  • Collect fees, reconcile, and resolve outstanding balances within 60 days of invoicing.
  • Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Valid insurance license.
  • Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
