About the Role:

Airport Home Appliance is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use excellent communication skills to interact with customers and staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Qualify customer needs for delivery, including an assessment of customers' home and road access
  • Consult with customers to ensure they are selecting a product/service that meets their needs
  • Maintain contact with customers until their purchase is delivered and follow-up with customers after the sale
  • Answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner while providing excellent customer service
  • Be on-time, punctual, and conduct oneself in a professional manner
  • Be a team player and support colleagues through positive interactions and a can-do attitude
  • Stay up-to-date on the weekly Plan To Sell list, which outlines profitable products and services
  • Maintain knowledge of products/services by attending training events

Qualification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Comfortable using a computer to email customers and use the internet to research or access vendor portals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly enthusiastic with a desire and commitment to achieve personal and professional goals
  • Bilingual/Multilingual is a plus
  • Previous experience in sales, especially appliance or mattress sales, is a plus
