Job Title: Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Chico's FAS, Inc. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, as well as pricing and visual standards
  • Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and maintain a fast and efficient register experience
  • Reinforce buying decisions at the checkout and achieve add-on goals, including gift card sales
  • Sign up clients for the reward program and build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing
  • Maintain consistent client communication through the utilization of customer books
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Retail or sales experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to communicate with customers, associates, and management
Physical Requirements:
  • Constant walking/standing (67-100% of 8-hour shift)
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift)
  • Frequent climbing (34-66% of 8-hour shift)
