The Customer Service Vehicle Return Specialist plays a crucial role in the airport team, acting as a brand ambassador by delivering a seamless, efficient, and valued experience to our clients. This position is responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and prompt service to customers returning their vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by overseeing the vehicle return process, adhering to Hertz's policies and procedures.
  • Greet all customers warmly and maintain a professional demeanor at all times, assisting with luggage and addressing inquiries in a friendly manner.
  • Provide customers with an invoice and a comprehensive explanation of their charges.
  • Effectively resolve customer issues and concerns, directing complex queries to the Team Leader when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, documenting any new damage or significant cleaning needs, and complete all required paperwork.
  • Check fuel levels and mileage, clearly communicating final charges to customers.
  • Secure vehicle keys from customers, ensuring they remain with the vehicle while reminding them to retrieve personal belongings. Offer assistance as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing customer feedback with the team and participating in action planning to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional appearance that aligns with best-in-class customer service standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management or Team Leaders.
  • Keep the work area organized and free from clutter.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong passion for customer service and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in sales or customer service within a high-volume or service-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated strong sales and closing abilities, coupled with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.
Must be able to:
  • Communicate effectively in both written and spoken English; candidates fluent in additional languages are encouraged to apply.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse tasks; possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exhibit professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Work collaboratively within a team setting.
