About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Energy Production Support Services Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Energy Production department, you will provide critical support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our energy production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical and administrative support to Energy Production staff, including tracking operating statistics, interfacing with plan historian, and maintaining records and databases.
  • Coordinate data requests, assist with budgeting and budget tracking, and schedule appointments.
  • Handle accounting tasks, including requisition entry, data entry, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and support services for WCCF and Blount.
  • Review and coordinate Energy Production management staff schedules and update calendars as necessary.
  • Track annual departmental goals and distribute monthly updates.
  • Assist with and coordinate development of the annual Energy Production departmental accomplishments.
  • Maintain information needed for collective bargaining and labor agreement administration, employee performance reviews, and salary information data on exempt and nonexempt personnel.
  • Track Energy Production safety performance and provide monthly updates.
  • Review and enter data into the Asset Management System.
  • Support staff in assigned project-based work.
  • File and retrieve records and reports.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Enter requisitions and receipts in Oracle at the direction of engineers and managers.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Maintain purchasing records and supply inventory.
  • Maintain records of capital spending and commitments.
  • Maintain the office supply inventory and place orders accordingly.
  • Track on-site chemical, bulk chemical, and lube inventory.
  • Record labor and process closing of work orders.
  • Balance stock parts inventory monthly and annually and provide supporting documentation to Property Accounting.
  • Collect and file various safety and inspection records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Create and update conference room, training room, and Energy Production calendars.
  • Answer and direct internal/external telephone calls.
  • Assist Energy Production managers with annual budget development and tracking.
  • Create monthly preventive maintenance work orders.
  • Create and maintain assets, schedules, and tasks in the Asset Management System.
  • Process Energy Production generation equipment operation logs daily.
  • Generate and distribute Energy Production plant information reports monthly.
  • Upload Energy Production generation equipment operating statistics to MicroGADS monthly and MISO quarterly.
  • Report Energy Production generation equipment operating statistics to federal agency monthly and annually.
  • Attend meetings and record minutes as assigned.
  • Coordinate biannual departmental meetings.
  • Coordinate biannual departmental newsletter.
  • Track contractor labor for O&M Manager.
  • Track apprentice hours.
  • Assist O&M Manager with maintenance records and reporting.
  • Process and distribute Energy Production procedure updates.
  • Process annual physical inventory.
  • Update and maintain Energy Production business contacts database.
  • Update and maintain various spreadsheets including O&M spending detail, off-line productivity, Energy Production variable O&M costs, Energy Production operating statistics, Energy Production quarterly accounts payable accruals, Energy Production O&M year-end estimates, and renewable generation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of analytical and administrative experience.
  • Skilled in word processing and data entry.
  • Able to make standard computations and tabulations accurately and with reasonable speed.
  • Must possess a general clerical aptitude and have basic knowledge of recordkeeping.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and be discrete.
  • Strong computer skills including Kronos, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Word and Excel, Lotus Notes, and spreadsheet software.
  • Proven skills in handling detailed work with minimum errors.
  • Able to multitask.
