About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Engineer to join our team at Arigs. As a key member of our Power Electronic Systems & Components team, you will be responsible for the development and testing of power electronic components for electric drive vehicles and next-generation power electronic modules for stationary applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical and mechanical test procedures on components, inverters, and converters
  • Create test plans in alignment with the validation engineer and design engineers
  • Document test results and support instrumentation of various power electronic components
  • Schedule and conduct thermal, vibration, and electrical tests
  • Support inverter tear down and inspection
  • Work with the validation engineer and product design team to define test and validation requirements
  • Develop test and validation plans for components and assemblies
  • Analyze and document test data
  • Communicate results and make recommendations to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units
  • Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Validate and implement product solutions
  • Document findings in technical reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum or an EET or MET degree
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience with VECTOR tools for hardware development, including CANape and/or CANalyzer
  • Experience using electronic test equipment for troubleshooting electrical components and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint or similar software office packages
  • Experience in the design or development of electronic hardware and/or test fixtures
  • Data acquisition experience, including DATK
  • Experience with FMEA / DVP&R / Proactive Reliability processes
