Newport Construction Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our commercial administration department.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and innovative individual to support our contracting team on various levels. As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting with bidding, preparing subcontracts, and maintaining bid files. You will also provide administrative support to the construction and sales teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with bidding by retrieving bid documents, preparing bids, and monitoring addenda.
  • Prepare subcontracts by pulling associated documents from contracts and submitting them for approval.
  • Prepare all invoicing for our commercial division and distribute it to relevant parties.
  • Assist with preparation of proposals and quotes.
  • Assist with subcontractor payment schedules.
  • Prepare job field documentation required for Superintendents.
  • Create digital and physical job files.
  • Maintain daily logs for various project functions.
  • Assist the team with daily assignments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness and ability to follow direction and procedure.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems as needed.
