Job Title: Director of Human Resources

At Ryman Hospitality Properties, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR policies and programs that align with our company values and goals.
  • Provide HR expertise and support to department heads and supervisors to ensure effective talent management and employee engagement.
  • Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee the annual performance and talent review process to ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive onboarding processes for new employees.
  • Enhance the user experience through ongoing management of our HR technology suite.
  • Drive the use of data analytics to produce people insights and innovative HR solutions.
  • Develop an employer brand proposition and campaign to promote our culture and attract top talent.
  • Lead, coach, train, and motivate Human Resources staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an HR field or related field/experience required.
  • 10+ years related experience in human resources.
  • 5+ years of management/supervisory experience in an HR field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting organization-wide talent management programs.
  • Experience managing, working within, and implementing HR/Recruiting software.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Expert knowledge in full lifecycle recruitment.
  • Strong management and coaching skills.
  • Skilled decision-maker, with transparency in decision-making and management.
  • Strong customer-centric focus with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines and reorganize under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Proficient in employee relations and resolution conflict.
  • Ability to create, summarize, and use data for quality reporting and decision-making.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • PHR/SPHR or other Human Resources certification preferred or equivalent experience.
