Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dispensary Associate to join our team at iAnthus. As a key member of our patient-centric team, you will be responsible for assisting in all daily operations of our dispensary, ensuring compliance with state and local laws, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Engage and educate patients in a positive and compassionate manner, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
  • Accurately complete patient intake forms and maintain compliance with all local and state regulations.
  • Assist in qualifying patients for our Verified Financial Hardship (VFH) program and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform general office work, including filing records, operating copy machines, and using email, while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Provide regular feedback to Dispensary General and Assistant Managers on patient interactions and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping, including patient intake forms, cash handling records, chain of custody documents, and waste disposal logs.
  • Participate in one-minute meetings at the start of every shift to ensure uniformity in message and goals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction is a positive experience for our patients.
  • Participate in monthly product inventory review and ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or patient services is preferred.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with basic math skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy and experience with POS systems is desirable.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check as per NYS guidelines.
