About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Calibration Expert to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our calibration laboratory, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our precision measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement calibration procedures for inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
  • Perform complex calibration and certification tasks on precision measurement equipment, including electronic and physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve calibration-related issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including calibration procedures, technical data, and quality control records.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and customers on calibration-related matters.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in calibration and adjustment of electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment.
  • Thorough knowledge of precision inspection, measuring, and test instruments and systems.
  • Precision Measurement Equipment (PME) and Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) expertise.
  • Ability to use company instructions, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of calibration and certification principles, root cause analysis principles, and application of calibration technical data principles in the field of Metrology.
  • Good planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and precision.
  • Working knowledge of electronic systems and control instruments.
