The Calibration Specialist will be responsible for testing, calibrating, and diagnosing a range of measurement and testing instruments. This essential equipment is routinely maintained and calibrated to ensure precision, dependability, and compliance with established industry and client standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Calibration Specialist will focus on the calibration of both electronic and mechanical testing equipment at various client locations. This role necessitates travel. Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing the sequence of testing and calibration activities;
  • Calibrating, adjusting, and resolving issues with client equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pressure, torque, environmental, dimensional, and radio frequency instruments;
  • Developing, updating, and managing data sheets for testing equipment;
  • Maintaining databases for customers, vendors, and equipment;
  • Fostering customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and facilitating timely equipment turnaround.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant field is required. Experience as an electronics technician is highly preferred. Calibration experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields, as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training, is advantageous.
  • Fundamental technical knowledge of electronic principles is necessary. Familiarity with diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and testing equipment is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across the United States for extended periods.
  • A proactive attitude and a desire for professional growth within the organization.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background security check are required.
