As a **Material Handling Technician**, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair our fleet of equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. This role encompasses a variety of tasks related to the upkeep of heavy machinery, including forklifts and trucks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough inspections and repairs on all types of company machinery.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, providing effective solutions.
  • Utilize precision instruments, such as micrometers and voltmeters, to ensure accurate measurements and repairs.
  • Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis on both trucks and trailers.
  • Employ welding techniques when necessary to complete repairs.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.

**Qualifications:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • A degree in Diesel Maintenance is advantageous.
  • Experience in truck repair is preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of truck systems and components.
  • Able to work in varying environmental conditions.
  • Must possess personal tools for maintenance tasks.
