Manufacturing Solutions Inc. (MSI) is seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment and Truck Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our Trucking and Sitework Team.


Key Responsibilities:
As a technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our fleet and heavy machinery to ensure timely delivery of high-quality services.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs as assigned.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Execute emergency repairs on machinery and vehicles as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Inspect and service all forklifts, trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery.
  • Perform cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance on all equipment.
  • Carry out skilled maintenance and repairs on both mechanical and electrical systems; test and replace circuits; manage emergency repairs and complex projects; troubleshoot and rectify defective components.
  • Estimate labor and material costs for work orders; source competitive pricing for required equipment and supplies.
  • Utilize various tools and machinery including saws, drill presses, grinders, MIG/TIG welders, plasma torches, and pneumatic tools to perform maintenance and repair tasks; ensure tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and functional condition.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess the following:
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Understanding of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with Tooling and Fixturing (welding, fabricating).
  • Experience in automotive, diesel engines, and heavy equipment repair (ASE Certification is advantageous).
  • Capability to troubleshoot and maintain forklifts.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as greasing equipment, changing oil, and rotating tires.
  • Awareness of electrical safety during troubleshooting.
