Senior Lift Maintenance Technician

Sugarbush Resort is in search of a Senior Lift Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our Mountain Operations team.
The primary role of the Lift Maintenance Technician is to ensure the safety and operational efficiency of our lift systems by performing regular monitoring, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with all relevant regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical skill set and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on all lift equipment, including conveyors and high-speed detachable quads.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and respond to lift malfunctions during the winter season.
- Execute comprehensive inspections of all lift components, including tower work and maintenance of grips and chairs during the summer season.
- Work on hydraulic systems, braking systems, and engines up to 900 Hp, as well as low voltage safety circuits.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of mechanical or electrical experience is required.
- Experience with detachable lifts is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
- Strict adherence to safety policies and procedures is essential.
- Must be capable of climbing and working at significant heights and in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
