About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join our team at Baker Hughes Holdings LLC. As a key member of our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and safe site leadership of onsite installation, operational maintenance, testing, and on Gas turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical direction to skilled labor during maintenance and commissioning activities on remote Shipyards, Oilfields, Industrial Facilities, and LNG Plant.
  • Lead installation, maintenance, commissioning site activities with proper Customer/Company Schedule Targets Mindset following quality and HSE Rules.
  • Participate in customer and/or contractor meetings and promote recurrence and following action plan.
  • Possess the technical capability to troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for gas turbines products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in field service or maintenance position.
  • Ability to understand and implement technical drawings.
  • Knowledge on Baker Hughes Aeroderivatives Gas Turbine/Compressors/Auxiliaries installation & maintenance philosophy.
  • Excellent technical skills in centrifugal compressors maintenance knowledge.
  • Good customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
