Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join our team at BEUMER Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for commissioning, modifying, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning of automated controls for supplied or modified equipment in a timely and professional manner
  • Design and execute on-site acceptance test procedures with project managers and customers
  • Create and review technical documentation for accuracy with project managers
  • Provide technical interface between customers and project managers in a professional manner
  • Remote technical support of customers as assigned in a timely and professional manner
  • Interpret circuit diagrams and layout drawings for installation and/or troubleshooting purposes
  • Write and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programs
  • Interface with BEUMER IT team during commissioning and troubleshooting in a professional manner
  • Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with customers and/or project personnel
  • Communicate commissioning/troubleshooting activities in a daily, weekly, or as requested format to the appropriate personnel in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of electro-mechanical experience
  • Ability to interpret circuit diagrams
  • Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems
  • Siemens S7 Ladder and STL programming skills
  • Allen Bradley expertise
  • Electro-mechanical skills, planning, leadership, and basic database functionality
  • Remote software handling
  • Professionalism, excellent time management skills, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
