Environmental Services Technician

Your primary duties will include:
- Performing routine cleaning operations, checking paper and soap dispensers, and restocking as necessary to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and/or locker rooms according to established practices and procedures.
- Following instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies, and using and maintaining all equipment assigned to perform job duties.
- Assisting with the setup and/or break-down of the facility for meetings, conferences, events, etc., and ensuring that building security is maintained by locking doors and windows and reporting any unauthorized occupants.
- Performing minor maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs and ceiling tiles, and reporting maintenance issues to the Lead or Head Custodian.
- Providing assistance as needed to school faculty and staff, and performing related work as required or assigned.
- Demonstrated aptitude for successful completion of tasks, ability to prioritize, organize, and perform work independently, and basic understanding of chemicals, processes and/or equipment used to complete tasks.
The estimated salary for this position is $15.31 per hour based on local market conditions.
