Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Woodhyrst, INC, a Generac Authorized Dealer. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on generators, diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems, and involved in installation hook-up of home standby generators.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent customer service skills and experience or ability to learn small engine repairs and basic electrical knowledge. Additionally, you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and possess a valid driver's license.
A right step to start or grow your career with us is having any experience in the following fields: Automotive Alternator repair and rewinding, Electric motor repair and rewinding, Gas utility, Home appliance repair, Construction, Manufacturing plant maintenance, Custodial Engineer, Electrical trade experience, Safety training: Forklift Operator Certification, Ropes & Rigging, WHIMIS, Fall Arrest.
As part of our mission to make the world a smarter, more sustainable place, you will be working with Generac's Authorized Dealers, helping to install home generators. Our competitive estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
