Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Generator Technician Specialist to join our team at Generac Power Systems, Inc.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company that specializes in clean energy and energy management solutions. As a Generator Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on generators, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and assisting in the installation of home standby generators.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our generators and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on generators to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues related to generator systems.
  • Collaborate with our installation team to ensure seamless setup and configuration of home standby generators.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy or electrical trade sector.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
