Job Description

Austin Click2Pay team at Visa is seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Quality Assurance Engineer to lead Test Engineering efforts for the Click2Pay (Secure Remote Commerce SRC) Checkout team, regional initiatives, and future services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts to support end-to-end testing
  • Ensure efficient test case management across our software portfolio
  • Establish standards for test case format and coverage
  • Design and develop automated test suites to improve quality and performance
  • Collaborate with development leads to ensure alignment in testing coverage and engineering standards
  • Work closely with quality assurance engineers and provide technical guidance to peers as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 7+ years software development and test experience
  • Experience with Selenium and Playwright required
  • Experience testing large scale web, mobile, and backend services
  • Experience in testing 3rd party JavaScript applications
  • Experience in financial technologies preferred
  • Agile Development, Continuous Integration using Jenkins and automated testing experience
  • Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Java, JavaScript or Go
  • Strong Unix skills, proficient with at least one shell and one high-level scripting language
  • Real passion for high quality software engineering
