Overview:
Under the guidance of the Resettlement Program Director, the Intensive Case Management Specialist will deliver a comprehensive case management service to eligible clients in a structured, effective, and timely manner, ensuring adherence to established federal standards and regulations.

Our goal is to eliminate obstacles with kindness, understanding, and empowerment while preserving human dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a culturally appropriate integration for clients into the community by providing access to essential information, utilizing interpretation and translation services as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Reception and Placement Case Manager to ensure timely client enrollment.
  • Conduct assessments and intake for new program participants with the aid of appropriate interpretation.
  • Offer job readiness and placement services to enhance employment opportunities.
  • Establish a tracking system to monitor employment success rates.
  • Deliver extensive case management services tailored to the needs of clients during their initial service period.
  • Document all client interactions and case activities as per the guidelines set by the resettlement team and Program Director.
  • Work with the Program Director to identify training needs and organize training sessions for new caseworkers.
  • Engage in performance-related goal setting and program evaluation to achieve objectives that promote cultural and social integration and self-sufficiency.
  • Ensure compliance among program staff with established standards and procedures during training sessions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A degree in a social service-related field or equivalent experience (minimum of two years) in a social service setting demonstrating sensitivity to diverse cultural populations.

Licenses and Credentials:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Current vehicle insurance

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of State and Federal Contracts and Grants.
  • Familiarity with Program Manuals and Operational Guidelines.
  • Proficient in client file documentation and record-keeping.
  • Skilled in using personal computers, various software applications, email, and internet.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capacity to work sensitively with individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethical client relationships.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
