Overview:
Under the guidance of the Resettlement Program Director, the Intensive Case Management Specialist will execute a robust case management service efficiently and effectively for eligible clients, ensuring adherence to established federal standards and requirements.

Our goal is to eliminate obstacles with kindness, understanding, and empowerment while maintaining human dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a culturally appropriate introduction for clients into the community by providing access to essential information and utilizing necessary interpretation and translation services.
  • Collaborate with the Reception and Placement Case Manager to ensure timely client enrollment.
  • Conduct assessments and intake processes for new program enrollees with appropriate interpretation.
  • Offer job readiness and placement services.
  • Establish a tracking system to monitor employment success rates.
  • Deliver comprehensive case management services tailored to the needs of clients during their initial service period.
  • Document all client interactions and case activities as required by the resettlement team and the Resettlement Director.
  • Work with the Program Director to identify training needs and arrange relevant training sessions for new caseworkers.
  • Engage in performance-related goal setting and program measurement to achieve objectives, ensuring cultural and social integration and self-sufficiency within the community.
  • Ensure compliance among program staff with established standards and procedures during training sessions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A degree in a social service-related field or equivalent experience of two years in a social service setting, demonstrating sensitivity and appreciation for diverse cultural populations.

Licenses and Credentials:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid vehicle insurance

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of State and Federal Contracts and Grants.
  • Familiarity with Program Manuals and Operational Guidelines.
  • Proficient in client file documentation and record-keeping.
  • Skilled in using personal computers, various software applications, email, and internet.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work sensitively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Capacity to maintain appropriate ethical boundaries and professional relationships with clients.
  • Ability to drive and maintain personal transportation, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
