Position Overview:
As an Associate at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, you will be engaged in the critical evaluation and oversight of model risk within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough analysis, monitoring, and evaluation of model risk linked to the creation and execution of risk models, including regulatory calculations essential for capital computation.
2. Assess the risks associated with model implementation by scrutinizing implementation code and reviewing all pertinent modifications.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, along with one (1) year of relevant experience in the offered position or a comparable role; OR
- A Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, accompanied by three (3) years of relevant experience in the offered position or a comparable role.

Prior Experience:
Applicants should have at least one (1) year of experience in the following areas:
- Evaluating the quality of model design and construction through independent analysis and testing.
- Conducting critical reviews and analyses of model documentation, testing, and empirical evidence supporting methodologies.
- Applying numerical expertise to assess the conceptual integrity of models.
- Reviewing model implementations in code and understanding and evaluating code modifications.
- Coding model analyses and implementing benchmark models.
- Drafting validation reports that effectively challenge the model development process.
- Communicating findings from model reviews to stakeholders and senior management.
