Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc. as a Certified Nursing Assistant I or II. This is a 25-bed medical-surgical patient care technician position that requires the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with duties as defined by the NCBON.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services.
  • Participate in patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care activities and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Completion of high school education or its equivalent.
  • Current Nursing Assistant I listing with the North Carolina Nurse Aide I registry.
  • Nursing Assistant Level II certification, preferred.
  • BCLS required.
