Position Overview

With over six decades of esteemed service in the Financial Services sector, Raymond James is on the lookout for a proactive Registered Client Service Associate. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and adept at problem-solving, ready to contribute to our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

This pivotal position is responsible for delivering exceptional administrative support to Financial Advisors, their current and prospective clients, and other team members within the branch.

  • Act as the primary contact for a high volume of daily interactions, addressing inquiries, providing quotes, and coordinating meetings with clients through various communication channels.
  • Collaborate both independently and within a dynamic team to offer essential support to financial advisors and the branch office.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new clients, manage the opening of client accounts, and conduct research on client and security information utilizing internal systems.
  • Ensure that client information and documentation comply with firm and industry standards.
  • Oversee the transfer of assets, ensuring successful receipt of all assets and cost basis.
  • Monitor available cash for investment opportunities, including generating weekly reports and reaching out to clients.
  • Evaluate and respond to corporate action items and client account alerts.
  • Prepare financial reports and materials for client meetings.
  • Input orders and assist in portfolio rebalancing for Financial Advisors.
  • Maintain records using Client Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Support Financial Advisors in marketing initiatives, including seminars and client engagement events.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on industry practices.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A solid understanding of the company's structure, policies, and mission.
  • Experience with managed account platforms and general office practices.
  • Knowledge of investment concepts and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Excel for reporting purposes.
  • Strong communication skills across various platforms.
Educational Background

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least one year of experience in the securities industry or a related field. Alternatively, a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.

Licenses/Certifications

Candidates must hold the SIE, Series 7, and any additional state-required licenses.
