Position Overview:
In this essential role, you will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of clinical biomarker assays utilizing cutting-edge flow cytometry techniques to bolster our drug development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance for the creation and execution of clinical cytometry assays across diverse therapeutic domains.
  • Engage with stakeholders within the Clinical Biomarkers and Diagnostics Department and other functional teams.
  • Develop and validate intricate biomarker assays to support various clinical projects.
  • Oversee and mentor laboratory personnel.
  • Innovate solutions to biological inquiries, analyze and interpret data, and collaborate with internal and external partners to establish and execute biomarker assays.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Doctorate degree with 2 years of scientific/technical experience
  • Or Master's degree with 5 years of scientific/technical experience
  • Or Bachelor's degree with 7 years of scientific/technical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in multiparametric flow cytometry assays, including immunophenotyping and immune-based functional assays.
  • Proven ability to independently initiate and lead projects while supporting team efforts.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring within a laboratory environment.
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation to assist in assay validation and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a matrixed environment for flow cytometry assay development and validation for clinical trials.
  • Project management expertise to meet critical timelines for biomarker assessments.
  • Demonstrated capacity for independent thinking and innovative problem-solving.
  • Understanding of disease biology and biomarker strategies across various therapeutic areas.
  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Experience working with internal and external partners, including CROs and vendors.
  • Knowledge of flow cytometry data quality control processes and complex data analysis software.
