Director of Product Analytics

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced product analytics professional to lead our team and drive business success. Your expertise in growth or product analytics, ideally with experience in a marketplace business, will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand product performance and impact.
  • Establish and advocate for best practices in analytics, setting clear goals and measuring success through relevant metrics.
  • Lead the charge in recruiting, mentoring, and managing a team of skilled analysts, aligning their efforts with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to drive business growth and improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • Expertise in growth or product analytics, ideally with experience in a marketplace business.
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed trade-offs while aligning with the broader goals and mission of the company.
  • Proficiency in interpreting user behavior data, including clickstream data, and experience in developing the necessary infrastructure for effective data collection.
  • Experience with supervised and unsupervised segmentation models, A/B testing, linear and non-linear regression models, and causal inference.
  • Expertise in SQL and proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
  • Experience with Tableau and other BI visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish productive cross-functional relationships within an organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
