Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Accounting Manager to join our client's team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with a proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving financial results.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations
- Implement process improvements and build robust documentation
- Provide review comments to staff on improvements and ensure completeness and accuracy of data
- Prepare certain journal entries and account reconciliations
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, with a supervisory role
- Implementation of new accounting process improvements and excellent documentation skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience with SAP and Blackline
This position will last a minimum of 6 months to cover a leave of absence. The compensation will be W2 hourly, with a rate of $55-60/hour, estimated 40 hours/week, with no overtime expected.
Work Model and Hours:The client has a hybrid work model, with 2 days in office (Tues & Wed) required per week, standard business hours with core hours (9a-3pm CST) required.
