About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Relationship Manager to join our Mortgage Operations team at Herring Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing loan files, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and deliver mail to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain the appraisal desk by monitoring transaction assignments, reassigning appraisal orders as needed, and communicating with appraisers
  • Answer mortgage phone calls and effectively relay information or transfer to appropriate departments/staff
  • Assist with in-house loans by completing General Ledger and Credit/Debit Tickets
  • Deliver in-house funding documents to the appropriate department in a timely manner
  • Monitor tracking of trailing documents for in-house loans
  • Scan and upload documents to file storage
  • Assist with loan file completion by following up on requested verification items and submitting files for document preparation
  • Assist with wire submission and approval for in-house loans and construction draws
  • Provide exceptional customer service to mortgage banking customers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years of residential mortgage loan operations experience required
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent social and networking skills to support the company image
  • Proven ability to provide an excellent customer experience
  • Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision
Working Conditions

The Customer Relationship Manager will work in an open office environment with occasional exposure to outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts. The incumbent will spend time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting, carrying, seeing, sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.

The incumbent must be able to accommodate reading documents, detailed work, problem-solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, multiple concurrent tasks, and constant interruptions.
