We are seeking a Property Accounting Director to join our leadership team at The Marcus Corporation. This role will oversee the administration of accounting procedures, ensuring timely and accurate production of financial statements and records.

The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership and cross-departmental collaboration to set and achieve property financial goals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reports and statements for internal and external use.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a financial business partner to engage property management in creative solutions to improve overall business results and processes.
  • Selecting, developing, and managing an effective team of accounting associates.
  • Implementing and maintaining accounting processes and procedures based on prescribed guidelines.
  • Ensuring adequate processes and procedures to protect company assets.
  • Driving the annual budget process for both financial and capital projections.
  • Developing operational analysis and information for effective decision-making.

Requirements include:

  • Previous management experience in a multi-site, high-volume hospitality company.
  • A four-year accounting degree and CPA designation.
  • Superior leadership, management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analysis and problem identification/resolution skills.
  • A meticulous eye for detail.
