Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic radiology team at Danbury Hospital. As a CT Scan Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing and operating CT Scan equipment to expedite an immediate diagnosis and deliver the best possible care to all patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients at reception desk and provides excellent customer service.
  • Administers patient consent and questionnaire forms, and answers any patient questions.
  • Injects patients with contrast agent as indicated, and programs information into computer.
  • Performs daily quality assurance checks and fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the team leader.

Requirements:

  • HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT
  • One year of experience in a related field
  • ARRT certification

Working Conditions:

This position requires significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity. The occupational risk is significant, and the physical effort is medium to heavy, with the ability to exert up to 35 lbs. force. There may be some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc. in the physical environment.

Salary Range:
$58.05 Hourly
