Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our dynamic radiology team at Nuvance Health. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic CT scans of patients while maintaining patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Introduce and greet patients

Ensure patient safety and care

Prepare patients for CT exams

Position patients for optimal anatomical posture and shield them accordingly

Produce high-quality CT scans

Assist with training students and ancillary personnel

Interact professionally with patients and family members

Complete all work before clocking out and leaving

Attend annual hospital reviews and departmental in-services meetings as scheduled

Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures

  • May lead, coach, and mentor staff members.
  • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
May take call as assigned.

Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

Minimum one year of CT Scan experience

BLS, CT State RT License, or New Graduates under CT Temporary Practice Provisions

Valid ARRT certification

Continuing education, 24 CEU credits for license

Maintains current knowledge of professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development

Experience with patient care in a radiology setting
