Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing and operating CT Scan equipment to expedite an immediate diagnosis and deliver the best possible care to all patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets patients at the reception desk and provides a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Administers patient consent and questionnaire forms, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
  • Answers patient questions and provides clear and concise information about the testing process.
  • Injects patients with contrast agents, if indicated, and programs information into the computer.
  • Performs daily quality assurance checks to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent.
  • ARRT certification in CT Scan technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

As a CT Scan Technologist at Nuvance Health, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be required to work 2 shifts per month, including one weekend shift, and participate in a holiday rotation. You will be part of a passionate team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Compensation

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $50/hour, plus shift differentials. Our rates have increased, and we are committed to providing a fair and equitable compensation package to our employees.

Credentials
  • ARRT certification in CT Scan technology.
Education
  • Associate's degree or equivalent.
Working Conditions
  • Significant manual skills and motor coordination required.
  • Occupational risk is present.
  • Medium to heavy effort required, with the ability to exert up to 35 lbs. of force.
  • Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and human waste.
