Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Registered Nurses in the care of patients, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction and comfort.
  • Perform Essential Job Functions as listed, including welcoming patients, preparing them for assessments and procedures, and assisting with transportation and meal preparation.
  • Collect and Process Specimens accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely processing and results.
  • Provide Direct Hygiene and Comfort Care to patients, including bathing, toileting, and oral hygiene.
  • Take Vital Signs and document results, notifying RNs of any changes in patient condition.
  • Communicate Effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear and concise communication.
Requirements
  • 1 Year of Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a Patient Care Technician.
  • PCT with EKG and Phlebotomy Experience preferred.
