Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Outside Salesperson to enhance our sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Outside Salesperson, you will:

  • Establish and nurture ethical customer relationships to optimize sales potential and achieve established sales and profit goals.
  • Become a vital part of each assigned account, gaining insights into customer needs to ensure we are their primary supplier.
  • Conduct proactive face-to-face meetings with customers, visit job sites, and engage with decision-makers to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Analyze sales data and utilize tools to develop strategies that assess customer purchasing potential and drive market share growth.
  • Process sales orders and manage all sales functions in compliance with company policies.
  • Participate actively in sales meetings, complete customer call reports, and maintain up-to-date customer profiles.
  • Identify innovative ways to enhance sales with existing customers and implement value-added services.
  • Address customer issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction and resolution in accordance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager to facilitate timely payment of accounts receivable.
  • Engage with industry associations to stay informed about market trends and technologies.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in contractor sales.
  • A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of products relevant to the Profit Center.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for communication and data analysis.

  • Foster positive relationships and teamwork with colleagues.
  • Possess excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Be self-motivated and organized in planning sales calls.
  • Learn to operate warehouse equipment and computer systems for order processing.
