Beverage Supervisor Job Description

At DelMonte Hotel Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing all activities of the beverage department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of beverage quality and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct all activities of the beverage department, including inventory management, ordering, and receiving.
  • Conduct monthly inventory to ensure all alcoholic beverages are accounted for and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate the movement of beverages and equipment for restaurant and catering operations.
  • Provide operational and financial responsibility for beverage outlets, including managing budgets and inventory levels.
  • Maintain the highest standards of beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager regarding beverage orders and develop and institute beverage training for the F&B team.
  • Monitor beverage inventory and pricing on a daily basis and make adjustments to restaurant bar menus as needed.
  • Develop and implement beverage training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about state and local beverage laws and regulations.
  • Provide a safe and reliable environment for customers and employees, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • College degree preferred, with experience in food and beverage or restaurant management.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management, with a willingness to exceed guest expectations.
