Position Overview:

This role is accountable for overseeing, organizing, and executing a portfolio of established national accounts to achieve designated objectives and service accounts to fulfill corporate and divisional sales and renewal goals.

The position collaborates closely with the designated strategic account executive, acting as the lead project coordinator to formulate tactical approaches and implement the account strategy established by the assigned strategic account executive.

This role focuses on smaller national group accounts, serving as the primary contact for client-related concerns, coordinating client meetings, and overseeing training initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales, or the Health Care sector, or 6 years' experience in these fields.
  • Possession of a State General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license, or the ability to obtain this license within the required timeframe according to state regulations.
  • Experience in delivering presentations to small groups.
  • Proven experience in leading a team on specific tasks or projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Project management expertise, including workflow and resource allocation. PREFERRED:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Health Care Administration, or Finance.
  • Familiarity with HCSC products, services, and operational processes, including rating and funding.
  • Understanding of HCSC systems (e.g., BlueCHIP, BlueSTAR, Accums, CRM, contact management, MS Office suite, etc.).
  • Awareness of competitor and industry trends, including legislative and regulatory developments. We encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences to consider this opportunity.
