This role is accountable for overseeing, strategizing, and executing a portfolio of established national accounts to achieve defined objectives and service expectations aligned with corporate and divisional sales and renewal goals.
The incumbent will collaborate closely with the designated strategic account executive, acting as the principal project coordinator to formulate tactical approaches and implement the account strategy established by the strategic account executive.
This position is focused on smaller national group accounts, serving as the primary liaison for client-related matters, organizing client meetings, and facilitating training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales, or the Health Care sector OR 6 years' experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales, or the Health Care sector.
- Must possess or obtain a State General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license within the required timeframe as per state regulations.
- Proficient in delivering presentations to small groups.
- Experience in leading a team for specific tasks or projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Project management expertise, including workflow and resource management. PREFERRED:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Health Care Administration, or Finance.
- Familiarity with HCSC products, services, and operational processes, including rating and funding.
- Understanding of HCSC systems (BlueCHIP, BlueSTAR, Accums, CRM, contact management, MS Office suite, etc.).
- Awareness of competitor and industry trends, including legislative and regulatory factors. We encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply.
