Position Overview
As an Analytical Chemistry Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production of PET biomarkers at our manufacturing sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and updating technical documentation for biomarker production and quality control.
- Collecting and analyzing data from production processes to identify potential improvements.
- Assisting in investigations related to manufacturing and operational challenges.
- Providing on-site support for PET biomarker production across various facilities.
- Conducting training and qualification sessions for production and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering expert recommendations to address production issues at both site and corporate levels.
- Participating in complex problem-solving and analysis.
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely communication of issues.
- Collaborating with other departments to identify and resolve production challenges.
- Maintaining qualifications and completing necessary training to support manufacturing operations.
- Prioritizing and developing solutions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Training new operators in current biomarker processes.
- Traveling to various facilities to assist in production processes as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related scientific field.
- 2-3 years of experience with complex analytical equipment such as HPLC, GC, and TLC.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail in all job functions.
- Understanding of analytical equipment and result interpretation.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 18F radiochemistry is advantageous, though training will be provided.
- Familiarity with radiation safety and hazardous material handling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in PET biomarker production or commercial operations.
