Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand core competencies of the assigned operating business.
  • Research the competitive landscape for these core competencies, identifying strengths and weaknesses of top competitors in this space.
  • Research and identify top customer targets in each of our target markets.
  • Identify key products of targeted customers within those markets, researching market share, market price position, and competitive advantages of such products.
  • Learn the clinical benefits of different procedures and products.
  • Research the start-up companies in these key target markets and identify what funding stage they are at, and where their funding is coming from.
  • This role is mostly research-based, reporting to leadership team via Excel files, PowerPoint summaries, and the like.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or another related field.
  • Interested in entering the sales field upon graduation.
  • Possess an active interest in learning about products in these target medical markets.
  • Have an aptitude for the connection between the medical device technologies and the clinical benefit of such technologies.
