Consumer & Market Insights (CMI) is General Mills' Marketing Research group. We exist to anticipate, inspire, and fuel business growth through a deep understanding of our consumers and our markets.   • Research and develop innovative new products and effective advertising to provide guidance and influence on business needs that will deliver added value to our customers and consumers.
  • Serve as the voice of the consumer to understand and synthesize consumer preferences, trends, and values.
  • Analyze consumer market research to understand key market data to guide decisions that will drive shareholder growth.
  • Influence key stakeholders, internally and externally, on critical brand and product decisions.

Interns will experience a robust 10-week program leading business critical projects.

The hourly rate for this position is $26.54/hour. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences and skills for their role. The pay for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decision including, but not limited to, educational degree in process, major of study and year in school.
