Your Role
As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will oversee the comprehensive commercial customer journey, focusing on relationship management and business development activities related to our automotive-specific portfolio of accounts.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage key accounts directly, adhering to established targets and company protocols, while identifying customer needs and promoting Kühne + Nagel's service offerings.
- Gain a deep understanding of the customer's organizational structure and decision-making processes.
- Familiarize yourself with the customer's business model and competitive landscape.
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements with clients, ensuring all commercial requirements are documented as necessary.
- Achieve expert knowledge of Kühne + Nagel's vertical service offerings.
- Adhere to Kühne + Nagel's sales management processes, ensuring timely updates in our CRM system.
- Monitor monthly performance metrics against set objectives, taking immediate corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure that an account plan is developed and approved by the relevant sales manager.
- Facilitate the smooth transition of new business into operations, ensuring customer requirements are met.

Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in International Studies, Business, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- At least 5 years of international experience.
- 2 years of leadership experience, both direct and virtual.
- 5-10 years in sales within the relevant industry.
- Proven track record in consultative selling and negotiations.
- Broad knowledge of supply chain logistics (Air, Sea, Road, etc.).
- Experience in business development, including up-selling and cross-selling.
