Role Description
We are looking for a skilled Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Technician to enhance our team. In this capacity, you will oversee the setup, upkeep, and troubleshooting of electric vehicle charging stations across various locations. Your technical skills will be vital in broadening our charging network and providing outstanding service to our clientele. We welcome candidates at all experience levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install electric vehicle charging stations in diverse settings, including residential, commercial, and public areas, while complying with local regulations and safety standards.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance to guarantee optimal functionality of charging stations and reduce service interruptions.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical malfunctions associated with charging stations, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity challenges.
  • Deliver superior customer service by resolving client inquiries, clarifying technical matters, and proposing effective solutions professionally.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all installation, repair, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, safety protocols, and manufacturer specifications to ensure all work meets regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including project managers and engineers, to ensure efficient project delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Journeyman, Certified Electrician, or Apprentice License.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical installation and maintenance, particularly with electric vehicle charging stations preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics; strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to operate in various environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or be on-call as project needs arise.
  • Frequent travel to job sites may be required.
